In 2023, Alexa Bakhash became a part of Berkman Bottger Newman & Schein, LLP, based in New York, New York. She currently serves as an associate. Her experience spans various areas, including divorce litigation and mediation, collaborative law, equitable distribution, separation and postnuptial agreements, prenuptial agreements, spousal and child support, child custody, alimony, distribution and settlement of marital property, post-divorce modifications, paternity issues, and relocation matters.Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Bakhash gained significant experience as an associate at a well-regarded New York matrimonial law firm and practiced real estate law, which enhanced her ability to handle divorces involving real property. During her time at Cardozo School of Law, she served as a staff editor for the Cardozo Journal of Law & Gender and as an articles editor for the Cardozo Journal of Equal Rights and Social Justice.
