Alreen Haeggquist provides representation to employees who have been the victims of workplace discrimination, harassment on the job, wrongful termination, retaliation or wage theft. She is the founder and managing partner of Haeggquist & Eck, LLP, located in San Diego, California, and she has pursued claims against major companies such as Kaiser Permanente, Sharp HealthCare, and Wyndham Hotels and Resorts.Prior to founding the firm in 2008, Ms. Haeggquist was an attorney at the San Diego office of one of the nation's leading consumer class action law firms, where she handled a variety of matters, including antitrust, securities fraud and unfair competition cases. She put that experience to use more recently as class counsel in the consumer fraud litigation against Trump University, and in November 2016, she was able to obtain a $25 million settlement on behalf of her clients.In 1999, Ms. Haeggquist received a Bachelor of Arts in political science and Latin American studies from the University of California, San Diego. Remaining in San Diego, she enrolled at California Western School of Law and was awarded her Juris Doctor in 2002. While in law school, she was the editor-in-chief of both the California Western Law Review and the California Western International Law Journal. Ms. Haeggquist is admitted to practice in California and before the U.S. District Courts for the Northern, Central, Eastern and Southern Districts of California.Ms. Haeggquist is a member of the San Diego County Bar Association and is a 2017 recipient of the Consumer Attorneys of San Diego's President Award.
