Alyssa L. Romero

Alyssa L. Romero, a native of Brownsville, Texas, serves as the founding member of Romero Law Firm PLLC. After practicing for 11 years, Alyssa opened up her own firm where she dedicates a significant portion of her practice to real estate law, where she has managed numerous residential and commercial real estate transactions. She has provided assistance to sellers, buyers, lenders, borrowers and investors, helping them navigate complex real estate matters, school law and business formation. In addition to her work in real estate, she has also litigated hundreds of personal injury cases encompassing wrongful death and trucking accidents and has obtained millions of dollars for her injured clients.Ms. Romero embarked on her legal journey after graduating from Homer Hanna High School in 2007. She pursued higher education at The University of Texas at Austin, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in government in 2010. Following her undergraduate studies, she relocated to Houston to attend Thurgood Marshall School of Law, graduating cum laude in 2013 with a Juris Doctor degree.Ms. Romero is duly admitted and licensed as an attorney and counselor at law to practice law in all courts of Texas, including the Supreme Court of Texas and the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas and Western District of Texas. She is an active member of several professional associations, including the Hidalgo County Bar Association (former director) and the Cameron County Bar Association. She is also a director of the Texas Trial Lawyers Association, contributing to its Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee, as well as the Women's Caucus, and is a former board advocate.
