Amanda Rokita is an attorney and founder of Rokita Law P.C, a boutique law firm focused on utilizing our wealth of legal experience to deliver solution based resolutions to individuals and small businesses throughout California.Amanda has a proven track record, having represented small businesses through trial with amounts in controversy exceeding $1,000,000. Amanda has garnered several awards, including the prestigeous Super Lawyers award for 2022 and 2023, which is awarded to the top 2.5% lawyers in CA. She is a staunch advocate who stands up for her client’s best interests and provides legal counsel that empowers individuals and businesses to achieve their goals seamlessly.Since 2014, Ms. Rokita has assisted businesses seeking cannabis licensing applications, including an application for a medical marijuana cultivation facility license in Desert Hot Springs, CA, the first city in Southern California to legalize large-scale medical marijuana cultivation. Within her first year of practicing law, Amanda was one of the twelve attorneys chosen to participate in the Los Angeles Incubator Consortium Program, a partnership created among Southwestern Law School, UCLA School of Law, Loyola Law School, Los Angeles, local legal aid organizations and the Los Angeles County Law Library to support and assist law school graduates in starting their own solo, small firm, or non-profit practices. Incubator participants receive the infrastructure and basic training needed to start their own practice in order to serve the local community’s legal needs at an affordable cost. During law school, Amanda externed with the Los Angeles Law Library, where she drafted a step-by-step research guide on criminal record expungement, which is available at the Los Angeles Law Library.Ms Rokita is also a founding board member of Lawyers ACT (Lawyers and Communities Together), a non-profit organization that supports team-spirited solo lawyers working within communities on innovative community-lawyering projects and policymaking in the South Bay. Ms. Rokita has also volunteered with Legal Aid Foundation Los Angeles as an attorney for the Lawyers in the Library Program. She is a member of LA County Bar Association, Women’s Lawyers Association of Los Angeles, and the Beverly Hills Bar Association.Amanda received her Juris Doctor from the Southwestern Law School, Los Angeles and a Bachelor of Arts from the Columbia College, Chicago, IL. Outside of her legal practice, she is an animal lover who has two rescue dogs, Pedro and Lulu.
