Ari R. Karpf

A member of Karpf, Karpf & Cerutti, P.C., Ari R. Karpf focuses his practice primarily on labor and employment law. From the firm's office in Bensalem, Pennsylvania, he provides advice and counsel to prospective, current and former employees throughout the state as well as in New Jersey, where the firm has a satellite office. Mr. Karpf also has experience in complex criminal defense matters.In his employment law practice, Mr. Karpf represents people who have been the victims of prohibited discrimination. His experience encompasses such federal laws as Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act and the Americans with Disabilities Act. Mr. Karpf also represents people who have wage and hour claims under the Fair Labor Standards Act or applicable state laws, and he represents employees who have been the victims of workplace sexual harassment. Other matters that he has worked on include wrongful termination and other forms of retaliation against whistleblowers, Family and Medical Leave Act issues, and cases arising under the Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act.As an undergraduate, Mr. Karpf attended International College in Ft. Myers, Florida, and he received a Bachelor of Arts in 2000. He then pursued his legal education at what was then known as the Thomas M. Cooley Law School and was awarded his Juris Doctor in 2003. Since graduating from law school, Mr. Karpf has litigated hundreds of employment and civil rights cases and has served as co-counsel and lead counsel in many state and federal trials. Admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, he is also admitted to practice before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 3rd Circuit.
