Azita Mosbat

Serving as of counsel at Harris · Ginsberg LLP, Azita Mosbat has more than two decades of experience representing the people of Los Angeles, California. Practicing exclusively in family law since she passed the bar, she is experienced in a long list of family law matters, including dissolution of marriage, paternity actions, postnuptial agreements, premarital agreements, cohabitation agreements, relocation of minor children, parents with personality disorders and family law cases that involve substance abuse.Ms. Mosbat attended the University of California Irvine and earned a Bachelor of Arts before moving on to law school. At Pepperdine University Rick J. Caruso School of Law, she earned her Juris Doctor, and she was admitted to practice in the state of California in 1998.She is also admitted to practice before the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Central District of California and the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California. In high-conflict custody proceedings, the Superior Court of California in Los Angeles appointed Ms. Mosbat as counsel to minors, and she is extensively experienced in resolving financial issues.During her career, she has worked closely with estate planning attorneys, clients with high net worth, forensic accountants and wealth management advisers. Ms. Mosbat is currently a member of the Family Law Sections of the State Bar of California and the Beverly Hills Bar Association. Within the Los Angeles County Bar Association, she is active on the Appellate Courts Section and the Family Law Section.
