Barry S. Kantrowitz

Barry S. Kantrowitz is a partner at Kantrowitz, Goldhamer & Graifman, P.C., in Chestnut Ridge, New York. In addition to handling the daily operations of the firm's non matrimonial litigation department, Mr. Kantrowitz focuses his practice of law in the areas of personal injury, corporate and complex commercial litigation, professional malpractice, criminal defense and commercial real estate. He serves Rockland County, Westchester County and Orange County in New York, as well as Bergen County in New Jersey.Mr. Kantrowitz has represented individual claimants and both large and small companies against formidable corporate defendants. In a landmark injury case in 2008, he obtained a $9.2 million jury verdict in connection with the death of two teenagers at a construction site. Since that time, Mr. Kantrowitz has obtained a federal judgment in excess of $1.5 million against one of the largest privately held companies in the world and recovered more than $600,000 in an oppressive conduct case on behalf of a minority shareholder.
