Brad Thomas

The founder of Brad Thomas Disability, Brad Thomas divides his practice between Social Security Disability matters, and personal injury and wrongful death litigation. From the firm's offices in Dallas, Texas, he provides dedicated representation to clients throughout the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex. Mr. Thomas has been a member in good standing of the State Bar of Texas since 2009.In his Social Security Disability practice, Mr. Thomas provides advice and counsel to area residents who have become unable to work due to a physical or mental condition. Under regulations promulgated by the Social Security Administration, the disability must be severe, meaning that it interferes with basic work-related activities. It must also be long-term, which means that it either has lasted or is expected to last for at least 12 months. The process to obtain these benefits is rigorous and complex, and the majority of applications are initially denied. Mr. Thomas assists his clients in the preparation and submission of the application, and he provides representation during the subsequent appeals process when applicable.In regard to his personal injury caseload, Mr. Thomas represents people who have incurred economic and noneconomic losses as a result of the negligence or recklessness of other persons or entities. He has helped victims of motor vehicle accidents obtain significant compensation, both through jury awards and negotiated settlements. As a result of his successes both in and out of the courtroom, the National Academy of Personal Injury Attorneys has named Mr. Thomas to its annual list of the Top 10 Personal Injury Attorneys Under Age 40. Mr. Thomas was awarded his Juris Doctor from Baylor University Law School in 2009.
