Brian S. Schaffer

Dedicated to representing clients before the United States District Courts in single-plaintiff, collective and class action lawsuits for failure to pay proper wages, overtime and commissions, attorney Brian S. Schaffer has handled many high-profile cases and is often quoted in national publications. A former judicial clerk in Kings County, he began his legal career drafting contracts for artists and executives in one of the largest music publishing companies in the country. Since that time Mr. Schaffer has also protected the rights of clients in a wide variety of labor and employment-related litigation, including claims of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful discharge, failure to accommodate disabilities, family and medical leave violations, and breach of contract.Mr. Schaffer is licensed to practice law in the state of New York, before the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York and the United States Court of Appeals for the 2nd Circuit.
