Carl B. Zacharia

A partner at the legal firm Zacharia Brown P.C., Carl B. Zacharia is an attorney practicing estate planning, elder law, long-term care planning, and Medicaid planning for both married couples and individuals. The law firm has several offices spread across Pennsylvania and Florida, and he works out of the one located in McMurray, Pennsylvania.Mr. Zacharia has been assisting families and individuals for more than two and a half decades and helps them make sound financial decisions. He understands how difficult it can be at times for his clients to make certain decisions for their families and makes it his utmost priority to devise a planning strategy to meet their expectations perfectly.Graduating from Washington & Jefferson College in 1982, Mr. Zacharia received his bachelor’s degree in economics. He later enrolled in the Duquesne University School of Law and completed his law studies earning his Juris Doctor in 1993. During his time at the university, he was a part of the editorial board for the Duquesne Law Review.With immense knowledge and experience in elder law and various programs available, Mr. Zacharia is a published author of the book titled “Good Long Term Care. How to Find it, Get it, and Pay for it.” He also has written multiple academic articles in the Pittsburgh Legal Journal and the Duquesne Law Review.In addition to being actively involved in the legal community, Mr. Zacharia is an esteemed lecturer at various colleges, including California State University, The Pennsylvania State University and several others. He is also a member of professional organizations such as the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, the Allegheny County Bar Association and the Pennsylvania Academy of Elder Law Attorneys.
