    Carolin Guentert is the Co-Managing Partner of the New York office of Sanford Heisler Sharp McKnight, LLP, where she also serves as Co-Chair of the firm's Sexual Violence, Title IX, and Victims' Rights Practice Group.Ms. Guentert strives to make workplaces and educational institutions more equitable. She has extensive experience representing employees who have been subjected to discrimination, harassment, or retaliation at work. She has advocated for survivors of domestic violence, those facing pregnancy discrimination, and regularly represents students who faced sexual harassment, sexual violence, or discrimination at school. Ms. Guentert approaches her work with empathy and compassion, and fights tirelessly for clients whose rights have been violated. She has successfully guided plaintiffs through federal and state litigations, mediations, and confidential pre-suit negotiations. Her experience spans claims brought in the legal, educational, financial services, tech, and consumer goods industries.Before joining Sanford Heisler Sharp McKnight, LLP, Ms. Guentert completed a clerkship for the Honorable Jack B. Weinstein of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York. After her clerkship, Ms. Guentert was a clinical teaching fellow in Georgetown University Law Center’s Domestic Violence Clinic.Ms. Guentert received her law degree from New York University School of Law, her LL.M. with distinction from Georgetown University Law Center, and her Bachelor of Artssumma cum laudefrom The College of New Jersey.
