Koop represents clients in Ohio in matters of family law, including divorce, dissolution, collaborative divorce, child custody, child support, spousal support, maintenance, post-decree modifications and enforcement, juvenile court matters, mediation and parental coordinating. While he is an experienced, successful trial lawyer, he also works with clients to find solutions to their problems before they are forced into the courtroom.After earning a Juris Doctor from the University of Dayton School of Law, Mr. Koop is now licensed to practice in Kentucky and Ohio, and before the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Kentucky and the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio. With over 70 hours of mediation training and more than half of that focused on specialized family/divorce mediation, he is prepared to offer mediation to his clients.Mr. Koop has been named one of the Top 40 Under 40 family lawyers in Ohio by the American Society of Legal Advocates.
