Charley A. Davidson

Focusing his practice exclusively on criminal defense matters at the state and federal level, Charley A. Davidson is a partner at Hanszen LaPorte and the head of the firm's criminal defense practice group. Based in Houston, Texas, he represents people throughout the greater metropolitan area who have been charged with misdemeanor or felony offenses. The types of matters that Mr. Davidson has handled have included mail fraud, money laundering, and other white collar crimes, bribery, driving under the influence of alcohol, burglary, extortion, weapons violations, sex crimes, vehicular homicide, and murder. He has been able to obtain acquittals in several of his trials, while in others he has successfully negotiated favorable plea agreements with the prosecution. Mr. Davidson's courtroom successes have not gone unnoticed by his fellow attorneys, who have given him an AV Preeminent* peer review rating through Martindale-Hubbell.
