Christian Alvarez

Attorney Christian Y. Alvarez is the principal and founder of The Law Office of Christian Y. Alvarez, a boutique immigration law office located in the Times Square area of Manhattan. Ms. Alvarez handles a wide range of immigration law-related cases including family petitions, naturalizations, asylums, domestic violence (VAWA) and waivers. She also represents companies in both non-immigrant and immigrant visa petitions on behalf of their employees.Ms. Alvarez is licensed in both New York (2015) and New Jersey (2014). Attorney Alvarez publishes informational videos about important immigration law topics. She is also a volunteer attorney for Safe Passage Project, which provides pro bono representation for unaccompanied minors. Ms. Alvarez founded and administers a Facebook group, New York Immigration Lawyers, where more than 750 immigration attorneys practicing in the New York City and surrounding areas collaborate in varying immigration law issues as well as local procedures before the immigration court and U.S. citizenship and immigration services. Ms. Alvarez is also fluent in Spanish.
