Christopher Prater

Christopher Prater is a commercial litigation lawyer and partner at Pollard PLLC located in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Striving to provide an ethical and safe workplace for employees, Mr. Prater focuses his practice on representing individuals in restrictive covenant and trade secret litigation as well as cases involving employee rights, discrimination, sexual harassment, and defamation.Mr. Prater is also a Florida Supreme Court Certified Circuit Court Mediator.After completing his Bachelor of Arts in political science from the University of Arkansas, Mr. Prater graduated magna cum laude from the University of Miami School of Law in 2013.During law school, Mr. Prater served as a member of the Moot Court team, interned at the Florida Third District Court of Appeal, and worked at several well-known firms. Before joining Pollard PLLC, he spent three years litigating complex medical malpractice and personal injury cases.Lauded by his colleagues for his impeccable work ethic, Mr. Prater also has the gift of empathy which he uses to fully understand his clients and their situations.
