Christopher Stoy

Christopher Stoy, a partner at Stoy Law Group, PLLC, in Fort Worth, Texas, has been board-certified in personal injury trial law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization since 2019. His dedication lies in assisting those in need, focusing on personal injury law and motor vehicle accidents.A native of Fort Worth, Mr. Stoy pursued his Bachelor of Science degree in political science at Texas A&M University, graduating in 2006. He went on to earn his J.D. from St. Mary's University School of Law in 2010. That same year, he was admitted to practice in Texas and the United States District Courts for the Northern, Southern, Eastern and Western Districts of Texas, as well as the Supreme Court of the United States.While at law school, Mr. Stoy was active on the mock trial team and contributed to the St. Mary’s Law Journal. He also had the unique opportunity to study abroad in Innsbruck, Austria, where he was taught by Chief Justice John Roberts of the United States Supreme Court.Upon completing his law degree, Mr. Stoy returned to his hometown of Fort Worth to launch his legal career at a distinguished defense firm. Here, he gained invaluable insights into how insurance companies defend cases, knowledge that he continues to leverage in his practice today.As an associate, Mr. Stoy was even selected to travel to London, United Kingdom, to learn from the world’s largest insurer about handling and defending claims. Despite the valuable experience on the defense side, he realized his true calling was to represent those who have been wronged.Transitioning from defense to advocacy, Mr. Stoy joined a Dallas-based plaintiff’s firm that concentrated on auto accidents, working from their Fort Worth office. A respected figure in the legal community, he serves on the Board of Directors for the Tarrant County Trial Lawyers Association. Moreover, he is an active member of the Texas Bar Foundation and the State Bar of Texas.
