Collen A. Clark

A founder of Clark | von Plonski | Anderson, Collen A. Clark focuses his practice on personal injury and wrongful death litigation. Born and raised in Texas, he attended Baylor University in Waco as an undergraduate, and he was on the school’s rodeo team before receiving a Bachelor of Business Administration in 1986. Mr. Clark remained on campus for his legal education at Baylor University Law School, and in 1990, he was awarded his Juris Doctor.Mr. Clark devotes his entire legal practice to the representation of clients throughout the states of Texas and New Mexico from the firm’s main office in Dallas. He has been certified as a specialist in personal injury trial law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, and his cases have included oil field and other workplace accidents; truck, motorcycle and automobile crashes; premises liability; and aviation accidents.Mr. Clark has been able to obtain hundreds of millions of dollars in compensation for his clients through jury verdicts as well as through settlements that he has negotiated out of court. One of his representative results came in 2016, where he achieved a $35 million settlement in a case involving an oil field explosion. Admitted to practice before all Texas state courts since 1990, Mr. Clark has also been admitted to practice before the U.S. District Courts for the Northern, Southern, Western and Eastern Districts of Texas as well as before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 5th Circuit and the Supreme Court of the United States. His professional affiliations include the Texas Trial Lawyers Association and the American Association for Justice.
