Dan R. Stengle

Dan R. Stengle brings many years of experience to his position at Associates and Bruce L. Scheiner, Attorneys for the Injured, in Fort Myers, Florida. After decades working as a lawyer in multiple state government agencies, he has turned his attention to serving injured victims who seek justice from negligent parties. His legal talents excel in the practice of personal injury law. His ability to wade through bureaucratic details translates effectively to interfacing with insurance companies or other responsible parties. Mr. Stengle works hard to obtain favorable outcomes for victims of car crashes, slip-and-fall accidents, construction site injuries and defective products.His career within state government arose from his position as a legislative analyst intern under a joint program with Florida State University and the Florida Senate. He had started studying law at the University of Tennessee College of Law but transferred to Florida State University College of Law upon being selected for the prestigious internship. After receiving his law degree, Mr. Stengle worked as general counsel for the Florida Game and Fresh Water Fish Commission,  and the Florida Department of Community Affairs, Staff Director of the Senate Governmental Operations Committee, and Deputy Chief of Staff and General Counsel to Governor Lawton Chiles of Florida, and to Governor Kenneth L. "Buddy" MacKay.Educational programs have often asked Mr. Stengle to lecture on subjects such as legislative drafting, public meetings and records, appellate practice, and ethics for public officials. As a member of The Florida Bar, he served as the chair of its Administrative Law Section and held a position on the executive council of The Florida Bar's Government Lawyer Section.
