David L. Kerby

David L. Kerby, a partner with Kerby & Wade, P.C., has 13 years of experience in representing his clients in Lubbock, Texas, and throughout the surrounding areas. A native of Texas, Mr. Kerby's law practice is focused in the areas of personal injury law and other types of civil litigation such as medical malpractice and land disputes.Before attending law school, Mr. Kerby first completed his undergraduate degree in animal science at Texas Tech University. He then graduated from the ranch management program at Texas Christian University before deciding to pursue his legal education. Mr. Kerby then attended the Texas Tech University School of Law. While he was in law school, he worked as a law clerk for the George Thompson Law Offices and served on the school's Board of Barristers. After graduating with his Juris Doctor, Mr. Kerby was licensed to practice law in both Texas and New Mexico.Mr. Kerby began practicing at George Thompson Law Offices after law school and then later became a partner with Mr. Thompson and formed Thompson & Kerby Law Offices in 2003.  In 2017, the firm changed its name to Kerby & Wade, P.C.In addition to being admitted to practice law before all of the state courts of both New Mexico and Texas, Mr. Kerby is admitted to practice law before the U.S. District Courts for the Western and Northern Districts of Texas.
