David R. Jacquette

David R. Jacquette is an attorney specializing in medical malpractice and personal injury litigation, as well as business transactions and commercial litigation. He is a partner and shareholder at the law firm of Morris Wilson Knepp Jacquette, P.C. He is licensed to practice in the state and federal courts of both Pennsylvania and New Jersey. In 2023 alone, Mr. Jacquette achieved several multi-million dollar results on behalf of his clients, including:$4 million settlement for the estate of a man who was killed by a drunk driver in Montgomery County, PA.$2.25 million settlement for a pedestrian in PA who was struck by a car on her way to work, suffering multiple fractures and an intracranial hemorrhage (brain bleed).$3.6 million jury verdict in a complex commercial litigation case involving claims of theft and breach of fiduciary duty in Chester County, PA.$950k settlement for the failure to diagnose a young man’s septic knee joint, resulting in severe sepsis with acute organ failure.In 2018, Mr. Jacquette was named in the "Top 40 Under 40" civil Plaintiff's attorneys in Pennsylvania by the National Trial Lawyers Association. He was named a Pennsylvania Super Lawyers Rising Star from 2014-2020 and was recently included in the 2022 edition of the Pennsylvania Super Lawyers list.A former teacher, Mr. Jacquette now uses his free time to give back to the community and children specifically. He is a child advocate through the Montgomery Child Advocacy Program, providing free legal representation to children who have been abused. He also serves on the Board of Directors of the North Penn Valley Boys and Girls Club.Mr. Jacquette is an active member in a number of professional associations, including the Montgomery Bar Association and the Philadelphia Bar Association, as well as the Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association. He has been appointed to numerous committees, such as the Trial Lawyers Section, Bench Bar Committee, Judicial Evaluation Committee, and Legal Aid/Pro Bono Service Committee. From 2013-2015, he was appointed as a Hearing Committee Member serving the Disciplinary Board of the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania, before being named a Chairman of the Hearing Committee for another three years (2016-2018). In this role, Mr. Jacquette oversaw hearings brought by the Disciplinary Board against attorneys for ethics violations.
