Donald M. Lund

Donald M. Lund is the co-founder of the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, based law firm Lund Metcalfe, LLC.  Over the past 30 years he has worked with Fortune 500 companies, prominent regional businesses and individuals in a variety of matters involving business and construction litigation, property damage litigation, personal injury defense and contract drafting, review and analysis.Mr. Lund is a seasoned litigator who has handled significant litigation matters in state and federal courts and arbitration tribunals across the United States.  After 25 years of practicing at large national law firms, in 2017 Mr. Lund founded Lund Metcalfe with his long-time colleague Mike Metcalfe. Since its inception, Lund Metcalfe has been committed to providing its clients with thorough, sophisticated and tenacious legal representation with an emphasis on responsiveness and availability.Mr. Lund is admitted to practice in all Pennsylvania state trial and appellate courts, the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, the United States District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania and the United States Court of Appeals for the 3rd Circuit.Mr. Lund created and presented a comprehensive program on Pennsylvania Injunction Practice and Procedure for the Pennsylvania Bar Institute in 2010.  Among other articles, he has authored an analysis of Pennsylvania law regarding personal jurisdiction over out of state defendants in commercial litigation which was published in the Pennsylvania Bar Association Quarterly.Mr. Lund graduated from Yale University in 1989.  He attained his J.D. magna cum laude from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law in 1992.  He also was a member of Law Review and received the Order of the Coif for his outstanding academic achievements.*AV®, AV Preeminent®, Martindale-Hubbell Distinguished and Martindale-Hubbell Notable are certification marks used under license in accordance with the Martindale-Hubbell certification procedures, standards and policies.
