Francis J. Brennan

Francis J. Brennan practices in the areas of bankruptcy and creditor/debtor rights, business litigation, and construction litigation. He has represented businesses in completing Chapter 11 reorganizations and has argued appeals before the Bankruptcy Appellate Panel for the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit and appellate courts of the State of New York. He has also represented subcontractors in arbitration and litigation matters arising from subcontract agreements and New York Lien Law Article 3-A matters. He holds a J.D. from Albany Law School, an MBA from the College of St. Rose, and a B.A. from Union College. He has served as an officer of the Capital Region Bankruptcy Bar Association and as its President in 2007, was a member of the Local Rules Review Committee for the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of New York, and is a Subchapter V trustee for Subchapter V Small Business Chapter 11 cases filed in the Northern and Western Districts of New York and the District of Vermont.
