George F. Hildebrandt

Before founding George F. Hildebrandt, Attorney at Law, George F. Hildebrandt graduated from Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs, Syracuse University, with a Bachelor of Arts in 1981, and earned his Juris Doctor from Syracuse University College of Law three years later. He has spent over 35 years since then representing clients from the Syracuse metropolitan area and throughout central New York who have been charged with crimes in federal and state courts.Understanding that no two cases are the same, Mr. Hildebrandt develops a strategy for each based on careful investigation of the circumstances. As a result, he has won acquittals for clients facing charges that include the following: sex offenses; drug conspiracies, possession and sales; weapons possession and federal firearms violations; murder; robbery; burglary; traffic violations; and driving while intoxicated. His extensive knowledge of the legal system allows him to successfully advise clients on the best approach, and he is often able to negotiate a deal for a reduced sentence, suppress evidence or have charges dismissed altogether.Mr. Hildebrandt is a member of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and the New York State Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.
