    Born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana, George W. (Billy) Shepherd III is a distinguished litigator with extensive experience in handling a wide array of cases. In 2015, he co-founded Shepherd Prewett, PLLC, with Matthew Prewett, based in Houston, Texas. He serves clients throughout Houston and the surrounding areas.Mr. Shepherd pursued his undergraduate studies at the University of Virginia, where he excelled academically and graduated with a Bachelor of Science from the McIntire School of Commerce in 1982. Following his undergraduate education, he returned to New Orleans and earned an MBA from Loyola University in 1983, once again achieving academic honors.In 1984, Mr. Shepherd moved to Austin to attend The University of Texas at Austin School of Law, where he earned a Juris Doctor with honors. Shortly after, he became licensed to practice law and relocated to Houston to join the trial section of a prominent law firm.
