Jaime Herren

Jaime Herren is the principal of the Orinda-based law firm – Hartog Baer Zabronsky, in California. Basing her practice in Alameda and Contra Costa counties, she has garnered extensive experience in the areas of estate and trust litigation, intellectual property litigation and digital assets, licensing and tax planning.With an experience of over a decade, Ms. Herren has appeared before state and federal courts and governing tax bodies, litigating high-value trust cases and intellectual property disputes. Having served as an in-house counsel, she understands internal business processes and advocates the early implementation of dispute avoidance and resolution strategies. With extensive experience litigating a variety of cases, she perceives wealth planning as a pre-conflict resolution strategy.Ms. Herren commenced her career in law in the field of intellectual property litigation and proceeded into the field of private wealth litigation in the San Francisco Bay Area. She laid her educational foundation in law at the University of San Francisco School of Law, where she graduated in 2010. She completed both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in mechanical engineering at the University of California, Berkeley, in 2004 and 2006, respectively.Licensed to practice by The State Bar of California, Ms. Herren has been admitted to the Supreme Court of California, the U.S. District Courts for the Northern, Central and Eastern Districts of California, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit, the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, and the U.S. Tax Court.Ms. Herren holds membership in the Trust and Estates Executive Committee of the California Lawyers Association and is the vice chair of the American Bar Association’s Alternative Dispute Resolution Committee of the Real Property, Trust and Estate Section.
