Jeff Lacy

Attorney Lacy is a Partner with Greenman, Lacy, Klein, Hinds, Weiser where he has practiced family law since 2005. He has been given an Avvo “Superb” 10.0 and a "Rising Star" award from SuperLawyers. Previous clients in San Diego, California, have appreciated his careful handling of emotional matters related to family law.  From complex custody issues to simple agreements, Mr. Lacy has extensive experience in all aspects of family law and has handled hundreds of cases with varying issues and concerns.Professional networking and improvement are important to Mr. Lacy.  In 2020 he was the Chair and leader of the 87+ year old statewide nonprofit and nonpartisan lawyer organization the Conference of California Bar Associations.  He has served on the Board of Directors for seven years. A natural leader, Mr. Lacy has previously served as the youngest President of the North County Bar Association and is a mentor in the local chapter for the American Inns of Court.He also is or has been a member of the North County Bar Association Magazine Committee, the San Diego Family Law Bar Association, the North County Bar Association, The State Bar of California, the San Diego Bar Association, the American Bar Association, and Inns of Court.Mr. Lacy earned his undergraduate degree from the University of California San Diego before earning a Juris Doctor from California Western School of Law. Areas of practice include legal separation, property division, restraining orders, domestic violence, child support and custody, and divorce. While his goal is always to settle amicably, he is fully prepared to represent his clients in court, and has in the past represented unavailable or deployed military persons under the Servicemembers Civil Relief Act after being appointed by the court.
