Jennifer Falk is a partner at McCathern, Shokouhi, Evans in the Dallas office, Texas, having joined the firm in 2022. Her experience significantly strengthens the firm’s practice areas in business and commercial litigation, family law and criminal defense. She is renowned for her legal acumen and has been instrumental in enhancing the firm's capabilities.Ms. Falk holds prestigious certifications and honors, being board-certified in criminal law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization and a Fellow of the Texas Bar Foundation. Her dedication to the legal community is also evident from her role as co-chair of the Criminal Law Section of the Dallas Bar Association. Her commitment is further highlighted by her accolade as the Dallas County District Attorney’s Office Prosecutor of the Year in 2018.Earning her J.D. from South Texas College of Law Houston in 2006, Ms. Falk was distinguished as the Outstanding Female Graduate, received the Shea Lynn Maloney Advocacy Award and was selected to the Order of Barristers. Beginning her legal journey in Houston, Ms. Falk served as an Assistant District Attorney at the Harris County District Attorney’s Office from 2006 to 2015. She handled cases involving violent felonies and played a crucial role in protecting vulnerable victims. Her passion for legal education led her to teach trial advocacy as an adjunct professor at South Texas College of Law Houston and to serve as a course instructor for the City of Houston’s Police Department.In 2016, Ms. Falk transitioned to the Dallas County District Attorney’s Office where she honed her focus on sexual assault cases and managed felony prosecutions across nine district courts. Her meticulous attention to high-profile and sensitive cases, coupled with her collaborative efforts on office initiatives and attorney training, underscored her commitment to the field.
