Jesse Gessin

Jesse Gessin is trial counsel for businesses and individuals.  He is the rare attorney who successfully tries cases as lead trial counsel where he is hired on the eve of trial.  Jesse is also available for association by other attorneys for purposes of consultation, trial, or both. Jesse has handled countless civil and criminal matters at all phases of litigation.  He has been lead counsel in over thirty-five jury trials to verdict.  As a plaintiff’s attorney, he has obtained multi-million dollar verdicts and settlements in civil cases.  As a civil defense attorney, he has accomplished dismissals, summary judgments, and complete defense verdicts.Prior to forming Gessin Ltd, Jesse was a partner in a nationally recognized business trial boutique law firm.  Before then, for close to a decade, he was a deputy federal public defender in two offices. Jesse taught trial advocacy at the University of California, Irvine School of Law (a top 30 law school by US News and World Report), is recognized for his trial work by various publications.  He is a Fellow of Litigation Counsel of America (by invitation only, limited to top 1/2 of 1 percent of lawyers nationally) – Orders of Veritas and Certus, and a member of the Trial Law Institute and Diversity Law Institute .  He is a graduate of George Washington University Law School.
