Jonathan F. Armour

Jonathan Armour is an attorney at The Lanier Law Firm Houston office.  He represents clients in a variety of civil litigation matters, including toxic torts, and asbestos related injuries.Born and raised in nearby Cypress, Texas, Mr. Armour lived his entire life in the greater Houston, Texas area. He graduated from Cypress Creek High School and earned his undergraduate degree from Texas A&M University in 2007. He then earned his law degree at the Texas Tech University School of Law where he served as President of the Student Bar Association and was an active member of the National Mock Trial Team.Mr. Armour began participating in the summer clerking program at The Lanier Law Firm starting in 2005 and continued his participation every summer throughout his time in college and law school. He is one of the few individuals who can say he literally, “grew up” around the culture of success at The Lanier Law Firm. His high work ethic and communication skills made him an obvious permanent addition to the Lanier Law Firm team upon graduation.Mr. Armour was admitted to the State Bar of Texas in 2011 and the State Bar of Louisiana in 2019. He is a member of the Houston Trial Lawyers Association, the Texas Trial Lawyers Association, the Christian Trial Lawyers Association, the State Bar of Texas, the American Association for Justice, and the National Trial Lawyers, where he is a multi-year member of the Top 40 Under 40. In addition to his exceptional litigation expertise he is also a trained mediator, having mediated cases involving contract law, family law, and many other areas.Mr. Armour lives in Houston with his wife Natalie and their two children. Mr. Armour enjoys playing sports and never misses a chance to cheer for the Aggies and Red Raiders, as well as the Houston Rockets, the Houston Texans, and of course the Houston Astros.
