Jonathan Rose

Jonathan focuses his practice on criminal defense and healthcare license defense.Jonathan has represented clients in criminal cases in state courts across Florida and in federal courts throughout the country.  He has over 100 jury trials, including complex white collar cases in federal courts for clients accused of ponzi schemes, telemarketing fraud, identity theft, and drug conspiracies.  Jonathan has represented clients in state and federal courts accused of kickback conspiracies, healthcare fraud, pharmaceutical smuggling, and other alleged frauds.  He has also represented clients accused of drug conspiracies, trafficking, possession, and other drug offenses.  Jonathan is known for his tireless approach to his cases.  In many instances, cases can be disposed of before charges are ever filed.  In others, depositions and pretrial motion practice may be necessary in order to achieve the client's goals.  If a case must proceed to trial, Jonathan is extremely experienced in both state and federal court trial practice.Jonathan also focuses on the representation of physicians, nurses, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals in criminal, disciplinary, and adminstrative matters.  Jonathan's deep understanding of both state and federal criminal and administrative laws govenrning healthcare professionals provides clients with a distinct advantage when accused of wrongdoing, whether the allegations involve drug diversion, overprescribing, medicare or medicaid fraud, standard of care violations, or any other criminal, disciplinary, or licensing issue.Jonathan began his career as an Assistant State Attorney, prosecuting felony crimes in Florida state court.  He then represented Fortune 500 companies in complex civil litigation ranging from catastrophic damage personal injury cases to complex commercial disputes.In addition to be rated by SuperLawyers, Jonathan is rated AV by Martindale Hubbell, an honor signifying the highest ethical and professional achievement, bestowed upon only five percent of attorneys.  He is also recognized by Best Lawyers and is a member of the Top 100 Trial Lawyers.
