Judith Meyer

With over half a century’s worth of experience, Judith Meyer stands steadfast and ready to help her clients overcome the complex legal challenges they face, using alternative dispute resolution methods such as mediation and arbitration in matters pertaining to employment law, personal injury, medical malpractice, commercial insurance and many more. At J.P. Meyer Commercial Dispute Solutions in Haverford, Pennsylvania, she serves clients throughout the surrounding region as well as across the greater Philadelphia metropolitan area.Ms. Meyer completed her undergraduate studies at Barnard College and graduated with her Bachelor of Arts degree. She went on to enroll in Cornell Law School, where she fine-tuned her legal talents, acumen and foundation, which are still evident in the advocacy she provides for her clients today. She received her Juris Doctor in 1974, and in the same year, she obtained her license to practice law in California. Later on, she became licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania (1988) and Ohio (2004), and since then, she has mediated over 200 cases for her clients, bypassing the tenuous legal process and saving them valuable time and finances.A pillar of leadership within her legal community, Ms. Meyers has held many leadership positions in numerous legal organizations, including as chair of the Philadelphia Bar Association’s ADR Committee, as well as the International Mediation Institute’s Independent Standards Commission. She has served as a mediator for numerous government institutions, including the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware, the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, the New York Metropolitan Transit Authority and many more.
