Katherine McDonald holds the position of partner at Dethlefs Pykosh & Murphy – Attorneys at Law, which has multiple offices across Pennsylvania. Working out of the Camp Hill office, she extends her legal services throughout Central Pennsylvania. She is a distinguished graduate of Bucknell University in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania, where she majored in political science and psychology, and notably, she excelled as a Division I softball pitcher for four years. Subsequently, she pursued her Juris Doctor degree at Dickinson Law of The Pennsylvania State University in Carlisle, Pennsylvania. During her time there, she gained valuable experience working at the Elder Protection Clinic and became a member of the Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity.After successfully completing her legal education in 2012, Ms. McDonald gained admission to practice in Pennsylvania the same year. Later, in 2014, she was admitted to the United States District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania, and in 2016, she achieved the prestigious status of admission to the Supreme Court of the United States.Ms. McDonald's remarkable legal skills and dedication have earned her recognition in the legal community. In 2022, she was honored as the Readers’ Choice Family Law Attorney by Harrisburg Magazine, acknowledged for her exceptional contributions. In 2023, she was honored as the Readers' Choice Divorce Attorney by Harrisburg Magazine.  Furthermore, she maintains an "Excellent" Avvo rating.Outside of her legal career, Ms. McDonald is actively involved in volunteering for various causes. She volunteers with the Mazzoni Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, an organization that provides vital services to the LGBTQ community. Additionally, she lends her support to several local animal rescue organizations, including Bunny Brigade Inc.
