Klaus Gottlieb founded his estate planning firm on a unique philosophy shaped by his diverse professional background. Recognizing that proper legacy planning is about more than just tax savings, he focuses on integrating the transfer of assets while addressing his client's values and legacy goals, a concept he terms 'wealth care'. His approach is informed by his experience as a scientist and attorney, bringing a depth of understanding to the human aspects of estate planning. In addition to a JD degree, Gottlieb holds an MBA from Indiana University and passed the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Part 1 exam. As a current instructor in Wills & Estates at Monterey College of Law and a Trusts & Estates Quarterly contributor, he stays current while passing his knowledge on to current and future lawyers.
