As a partner at Marrs Ellis & Hodge LLP, Kyle Baum navigates the complex world of Texas civil litigation and property disputes from offices in Austin and Houston. His practice spans the entire state, passionately defending Texas landowners and tenants embroiled in real estate, condemnation and eminent domain conflicts. With unwavering dedication, he stands by Texas landowners against challenges posed by the State of Texas, local governments and companies involved in oil, gas, pipelines and electric transmission lines.Academically accomplished, Mr. Baum's journey began with a B.A. in Government from The University of Texas at Austin in 2006. He honed his skills working with the Texas House of Representatives and Senate before pursuing his J.D. at Texas Tech University School of Law, graduating in 2012.While at Texas Tech University School of Law, Mr. Baum played a pivotal role as the lead articles editor for the Law Review and actively participated on the Board of Barristers. His legal experience includes roles at the United States Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Texas, the Washington Legal Foundation and the Office of the Attorney General of Texas.Admitted to practice in Texas since 2012 and before the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Western Districts of Texas, Mr. Baum is an active and proud member of the Austin Bar Association, the Texas Young Lawyers Association and the Austin Young Lawyers Association.
