Lee Palmateer

Mr. Palmateer is a seasoned intellectual property (IP) litigator in state and federal courts and experienced patent practitioner.  He has established himself as a leading trademark attorney in Albany, New York.  Lee counsels clients on all matters of IP.Mr. Palmateer is a licensed attorney in New York and Massachusetts, and a licensed patent attorney in the U.S.  He is admitted in the U.S. Supreme Court, U.S. Second Circuit Court of Appeals, and all Federal District Courts in New York.In addition to his law practice and degree from Albany Law School, Lee has a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Clarkson University and eight years of engineering experience with General Electric at Knolls Atomic Power Laboratory.Mr. Palmateer has served in multiple leadership roles, such as a member of Clarkson University’s Business Leadership Council and Clarkson’s University’s Entrepreneurship Center advisory council, Treasurer of the Tech Valley Licensing Executive Society, and member of the New York State Bar Association’s Committee on Professional Discipline.  He is also a civic leader, having been elected a Greene County Legislator, Town of Athens Supervisor, and Coxsackie-Athens School Board member.  Mr. Palmateer’s office is also an underwriter of local public radio.
