Mark B. Abelson

Mark B. Abelson focuses his practice primarily in the area of legal malpractice, assisting parties who have been harmed by negligent acts or omissions of their previous attorneys.  Mr. Abelson has been able to obtain favorable results in dozens of these types or cases, whether in front of a jury, arbitration or settlement.  Mr. Abelson also represents a small number of law firms regarding ethical issues, conflicts of interest or other firm problems.In 1973, Mr. Abelson received a Bachelor of Arts from the University of California, Berkeley with Phi Beta Kappa honors. He went on to attend the University of California Hastings College of the Law and was awarded his Juris Doctor in 1976.Mr. Abelson has provided expert witness testimony in legal malpractice matters since 1990. He has served as an arbitrator and settlement conference panelist for the Superior Court of California, County of San Francisco for more than three decades.
