In 2021, Megan Roper embarked on a new journey with Vazquez Law Firm, PLLC, nestled in Austin, Texas. Her mission is to champion the rights of individuals facing criminal charges. She achieved her undergraduate degree from Texas State University in San Marcos in 2008 and went on to earn her J.D. from St. Mary’s University School of Law in 2011. During her time as a law student, she interned at the Bexar County Criminal District Attorney’s Office – a transformative experience that ignited her commitment to justice.This experience unveiled the often-hidden injustices faced by individuals within the criminal justice system, fueling Ms. Roper's dedication to defending the rights of her fellow citizens. She earned her Texas law license in 2011. Respected in the legal community, she played a pivotal role in establishing the Texas Association for Cannabis Lawyers and has served on the boards of both the San Antonio and Dallas Criminal Defense Lawyers Associations.
