Meghan C. Moore

Attorney Meghan C. Moore of the Flaster Greenberg law firm in Boca Raton, Florida, serves on the firm’s board of directors and is a member of the Women’s Advisory Group. With over two decades of experience in insurance counseling and recovery, she is known for her dedication to clients, the community and her peers. Assisting clients throughout Florida with their legal issues, her practice focuses on helping companies secure insurance coverage for defense and protection during high-stakes litigation.Ms. Moore also assists in recovering property and business interruption benefits after catastrophic losses from natural disasters. She represents policyholders in disputes involving commercial general liability, property, fidelity, directors and officers, errors and omissions, and securities liability insurance policies.Ms. Moore has secured over $125 million in insurance benefits for clients since joining Flaster Greenberg in 2020. Prior to that, she recovered more than $70 million for businesses and individuals impacted by hurricanes. Her notable achievements include obtaining a $12.5 million punitive damage verdict against a commercial general liability insurance company for its mishandling of construction defect litigation. While she is prepared to go to trial, she first aims to resolve cases cost-effectively for her clients, having negotiated multimillion-dollar settlements in class action and multi-district litigation.Ms. Moore's accolades include being named a "Leader in the Field" of Insurance: Dispute Resolution by Chambers & Partners for 2024. She has also been recognized as a Top Lawyer by the South Florida Legal Guide and by Florida Trend as a 2024 Legal Elite Notable Women Leaders in Law. She earned her law degree from Tulane Law School, where she was on the editorial board of the school’s Sports Law Journal, and she received her B.S. in Business Administration with a concentration in accounting from the University of Montana.Beyond her legal practice, Ms. Moore is actively involved in community service. She is currently a member of Pilots N Paws, using her private pilot license to rescue and re-home animals in need.
