Michael V. Puppio

Michael V. Puppio Jr. is a founding partner of the Raffaele Puppio firm in Media, Pennsylvania. Mr. Puppio represents clients in the areas of municipal finance, education law, litigation and municipal law. He has built a respectable reputation through a long legal career and by being an active member of the county. He has spent time as a councilman and in leadership roles for Springfield Township.Mr. Puppio's legal career started after he earned his Juris Doctor in 1991 from the Dickinson School of Law. He clerked in the Court of Common Pleas of Delaware County and was the solicitor for the Office of Employment and Training and the Delaware County Board of Assessment. He is admitted to practice before the Pennsylvania and United States Supreme Courts as well as the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.Mr. Puppio’s interest in education is evident in the many communities in which he serves as solicitor, such as the Garnet Valley School District, Penn Delco School District, Interboro School District, Chichester School District,  Chester Community Charter School, Ridley Park Borough, Glenolden Borough and Zoning Hearing Board of Collingdale. He also provides special counsel to the Upper Providence Borough and several school districts.When it comes to handling municipal issues, Mr. Puppio draws on his experiences as a former commissioner and councilman. His duties in these positions included governing and managing an oversight budget of $300 million. He still has a fondness for civic matters and serves as the Chairman of the Springfield Township Republican Party. He was also a delegate at the last three Republican National Conventions.
