Mickey L. Washington began his law practice in 2003, after being licensed to practice by the State Bar of Texas. He is the founder of the Houston-based law firm Washington & Associates PLLC, through which he provides diligent representation in matters of employment  and personal injury law, primarily to the people of Houston, Beaumont/Port Arthur and the surrounding areas.Establishing his proficiency in handling legal matters through his two decades of successful law practice, Mr. Washington also provides assistance in complex contract disputes and commercial litigation matters. He has fought for over 350 plaintiffs in various mass tort litigation and over 80 in class action lawsuits as well.Mr. Washington’s clientele includes major companies from various sectors, including that of food and beverage, energy, health care, construction and other industries, as well as service to professionals and individuals. He is admitted to practice in Texas and Mississippi, and before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 3rd and 5th Circuits.A 1990 graduate of the Texas A & M University, Mr. Washington secured his law degree in 2002 from the Thurgood Marshall School of Law. Prior to starting his own firm in 2008, he garnered a wealth of experience working in a boutique firm catering to personal injury and commercial litigation.
