Nicole Liguori Micklich

Nicole Liguori Micklich is partner with Urso, Liguori & Micklich, P.C., in Rhode Island.  Ms. Micklich has extensive experience advising franchisees, area developers, and development agents in all aspects of their businesses and in litigation, arbitration, and mediation.  She also advises franchisors regarding area representative and area developer agreements and relationships and in litigation.  Ms. Micklich handles matters involving fraud and misrepresentation, breaches of contract, and statutory violations.Ms. Micklich also represents general contractors, subcontractors, and owners in her construction practice and routinely advises clients regarding contracts and corporate plans and policies.  She provides guidance regarding public and private contracts and regulatory matters.  Ms. Micklich drafts and negotiates construction contracts, coordinates with experts, and, when necessary, handles complex litigation and work-outs.Ms. Micklich is a frequent author and presenter on franchise law and other topics.  She is a co-author ofAnnual Developments in Franchise and Distribution Law, 2021, published by the American Bar Association Forum on Franchising, and co-presented Annual Developments at the 2021 Forum on Franchising Annual Meeting.She enjoys a Martindale-Hubbell AV®Preeminent™Rating and has been named a Legal Eagle by Franchise Times magazine since 2019.Mailing Address:P.O.
