He graduated with his Bachelor of Science in Foreign Service degree cum laude in 1995.Moving forward into the law profession, Mr. Dunlap attended The University of Texas at Austin School of Law and received his Juris Doctor in 2002. During his time in law school, he spent time honing his legal knowledge by working in many student organizations, including the Texas International Law Journal and the university’s Mock Trial Team. In view of his strong leadership capacities, he was elected president of the International Law Society. He spent his final year in law school studying abroad at University College London and researched LL.M. coursework in international and comparative law.After gaining his license to practice in California in 2003, Mr. Dunlop is also admitted to practice before all the federal district courts in California, the United States District Court for the District of Idaho, the United States Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit and the Supreme Court of the United States.Mr. Dunlap has made his mark in the international world as he played an important role in the Yugoslavia and Rwanda War Crimes Tribunal alongside the Office of the Prosecutor. He was also called by the California Supreme Court as one of three attorneys to work on the Judicial Council’s Working Group (Section 367.9) on Civil and Criminal Remote Proceedings.
