Richard J. Cea

Richard J. Cea is a partner at Manhattan, New York-based Wingate, Kearney & Cullen, LLP which was established in 1864. The Firm services clients in the Greater New York area. With over four decades of experience, he provides advice and counsel to clients around the Greater New York City area in many complex legal areas. Among the matters in which individuals and organizations seek his guidance are religious corporations law, cemetery law, not-for-profit law, estate planning, trusts and estates, elder law, asset protection, and real estate.In 1974, Mr. Cea graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a Bachelor of Arts in government and international relations. He then attended Fordham University School of Law and was awarded his Juris Doctor in 1977. Mr. Cea also holds certificates in labor relations studies from the Cornell University Industrial and Labor Relations School and in Estate and Gift Tax Planning from the New York University School of Professional Studies. Admitted to practice in New York, he is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 2nd Circuit, and the Supreme Court of the United States.
