He has also advocated on behalf of individuals and licensed professionals, such as architects and engineers, embroiled in disputes regarding faulty and negligent design issues.Prior to entering private practice, Mr. Simon served as an assistant attorney general for the state of Ohio, where he represented government agencies, licensing boards and regulatory commissions. He then practiced at a prominent Ohio law firm, where he focused on matters involving environmental remediation defense, construction dispute defense as well as defending the rights of law enforcement charged with civil rights violations.A 1989 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, Mr. Simon obtained his Juris Doctor in 1993 from The University of Akron School of Law, where he was active with the school's Law Review.
