Sancha Brennan serves as a shareholder at Zimmerman, Kiser & Sutcliffe, P.A. located in Orlando, Florida. Her practice is concentrated in the areas of probate, trust, guardianship and guardian advocacy administration, litigation and the commercial and residential real property transactions that often extend from these areas.Ms. Brennan genuinely cares about the legal challenges affecting the people in her Central Florida community, and this is evident in the attentive care and committed counsel she offers to everyone she represents. She enjoys working with professional fiduciaries, business owners and those advocating for their family members with varying levels of capacity.A graduate of Stetson University in DeLand, Florida, she studied a semester abroad as an exchange student at the Nottingham Trent University in England. Ms. Brennan went on to study law at New England Law in Boston, Massachusetts. She is licensed to practice in Florida and before the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida.A Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel, Ms. Brennan is also the author of the annual updates to the legal treatise, Florida Guardianship Law and Procedure, published by Thomson West. Dynamically involved in the legal community, Ms. Brennan is a member of The Florida Bar, where she is currently serving on the Executive Committee of the Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section as Director of the Probate & Trust Division. She has served on the Executive Council for more than twenty years and her past leadership roles include service as Chair of the Legislation and Continuing Legal Education Committees and former Secretary of the 12,000+ member Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section. She also continues to serve on the Ad Hoc Guardianship Law Task Force, tackling inconsistencies in the law and proposing a rewrite of the Florida guardianship law. She has served on the Florida Clerks Guardianship Law Improvement Task Force and is also a member of the Orange County Bar where she served as a past Chair of the Real Property Committee. Additionally, Ms. Brennan is a member and Past President of the Central Florida Real Estate Attorneys Council and is serving as a member of the Advisory Boards for the Florida Professional Fiduciary Council and formerly for Florida Guardian Support Network, formerly known as The Art's Foundation for Seniors.Ms. Brennan regularly lectures on a wide range of legal topics, including current legislative changes and various areas of probate, trust, real property, and guardianship topics to lawyers, judges, guardians, real estate agents, trust officers, real estate brokers and families.
