Scott Emblidge

Scott Emblidge is the co-founder and managing partner of Moscone Emblidge & Rubens LLP based in San Francisco, California. Assisting individuals, businesses and government entities throughout the state, he focuses his practice primarily on complex civil litigation, including trade secrets, real property disputes, land use and environmental claims and fraud. Mr. Emblidge also provides advice and counsel to clients who are seeking local or state government contracts or permits.A 1982 graduate of California State University, Fullerton, where he received a Bachelor of Arts in political science, Mr. Emblidge pursued his legal studies at Harvard Law School and was awarded his Juris Doctor in 1985. After graduation, he spent several years with the Office of the City Attorney of San Francisco, where he advised city officials and regulatory agencies on a variety of matters including civil rights, disability access, freedom of speech, affirmative action, and state and federal preemption issues. He also represented the city in high-profile lawsuits before co-founding his current firm in 1998. Admitted to practice in California, Mr. Emblidge is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California.Since entering private practice, Mr. Emblidge has gained the respect of his colleagues for his superb ethics and successful track record.
