As founder and senior partner at Scott M. Brown & Associates, Mr. Brown is board certified in Family Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.  Out of all the attorneys in the State of Texas, less than 1% are board certified in Family Law, which distinguishes Mr. Brown as an expert in the field of Family Law.  His firm has offices in Angleton, Pearland, and League City, Texas and represents clients throughout Brazoria, Harris, Galveston, and Fort Bend counties. His firm specializes in complex and adversarial child custody cases, high-net worth property divorces, and cases involving Children's Protective Services (CPS).  His firm also focuses on criminal defense, handling cases that involve the following matters: domestic violence, assault, drug charges, major felonies, white collar crimes, juvenile crimes, DUI/DWI, sex crimes, violent crimes and theft.After earning a Bachelor of Arts in political science and history from Rice University in 1997, Mr. Brown went on to receive a Juris Doctor from the South Texas College of Law in 2000. Having played college baseball, he also spent several years playing semi-pro baseball after law school and brings that competitive spirit to every case he takes on.For more than twenty-four years, Mr. Brown has been helping clients through stressful situations involving the family courts and the criminal justice system.
