Scott R. Haft

The founder of Haft Law Group, Scott R. Haft represents individuals and businesses throughout the State of Florida, Colorado and the District of Columbia.  He focuses his practice primarily on complex business and real estate litigation, such as business disputes with fraud allegations, construction lien foreclosures, partitions, collections, and post judgment collections.  Mr. Haft also provides in-house counsel type services to small businesses on an as needed basis for those businesses that do not require a full-time in-house attorney.  Additionally, Mr. Haft assists small businesses in the sale of their companies and/or assets.  Furthermore, Mr. Haft specializes in assisting clients in starting and managing their 501(c)(3) non-profits.Mr. Haft received a Bachelor of Arts from Franklin & Marshall College in 2005 with his primary focus in business administration.  In his senior year, he was the captain of the college’s varsity baseball team.  After graduation, Mr. Haft turned down an offer to play for the New York Mets to commence his legal studies at Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad Law Center, from which he graduated with his Juris Doctor in 2008.Following law school, Mr. Haft was admitted to practice before the state courts of Florida and before the U.S. District Courts for the Middle and Southern Districts of Florida as well as in Colorado and the District of Columbia.Mr. Haft is also a circuit civil certified mediator in the State of Florida. Mr. Haft is married with two children and enjoys spending time with his family during his time off.
