Scott Savage

Scott Savage is certified by the State of California as a Family Law Specialist.  Mr. Savage is an eminent trial attorney at Minyard Morris in Newport, Beach, California, and he serves the residents of Orange County and the surrounding region in contentious and taxing family law issues such as divorce and separation, child custody, support and visitation, domestic violence, father’s rights, division of marital property, mediation and collaborative law, paternity and same-sex family law matters, among many others.Completing his undergraduate studies at Arizona State University in 1999 and graduating with his Bachelor of Arts degree in education, Mr. Savage later attended Southwestern Law School and received his Juris Doctor in 2016. During his time at law school, was  a Dean’s Fellow and was a runner-up in the Southwestern Law School Negotiation Competition. Mr. Savage also received top-marks and the Witkin Legal Institute awarded him the Witkin Award for Academic Excellence in Business Planning.In a relatively short time span, Mr. Savage has made mammoth strides in his legal community through his efficacious efforts in helping clients overcome their legal challenges. He has garnered the adulation of his peers for his fierce dedication and tireless work ethic, combined with meticulous focus on every aspect of his clients’ cases, culminating in his recognition in the Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch in America 2024 list for his work in family law.Within his legal community, Mr. Savage takes an active part in prominent legal organizations to help better the standard of service of his industry to benefit those who seek legal help. He is an executive board member of the Family Law Division of the Orange County Bar Association and an associate board member of the Orange County Constitutional Rights Foundation. To further his knowledge and family law skillset, Mr. Savage has taken courses at the National Family Law Trial Institute, graduating in (1) advanced business valuation litigation; (2) child custody and business valuation in complex family law litigation; and (3) and advanced cross-examination of expert witnesses.
