Shannon Elizabeth Loyd

As founder of The Loyd Law Firm, Shannon Elizabeth Loyd provides representation to people and businesses all over Texas. Known for her courtroom skills, she has dedicated her practice to insurance claim recovery and defense and indemnity coverage. Ms. Loyd assists policyholders who are seeking their rightful benefits in cases involving any covered loss including water, tornado, fire and storm damages but whose claims have been delayed, ignored, denied in bad faith, or underpaid. She also works with clients who have been harmed by their insurer's failure to indemnify or defend them if they have been sued.A recipient of a bachelor's degree from Texas A&M University, Ms. Loyd went on to pursue her legal education at St. Mary's University School of Law and was awarded her Juris Doctor in 2004. She worked for several area law firms, including her own firm, before founding Loyd & Pollom, PLLC, in February of 2021. Admitted to practice before all Texas state courts, she is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Courts for the Northern, Eastern and Western Districts of Texas. Ms. Loyd has been certified as a specialist in consumer and commercial law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.
